WP Trigger on Publish

Whenever a new post is published, this plugin sends a copy of the post to a configured URL.

Description

Stop relying on messy RSS feeds to fetch the latest feed from your blog on a third-party service. Whenever a new post is published, WP Trigger on Publish automatically posts a copy of the post as part of JSON structure to a URL of your choice. This URL can be configured in the plugin’s settings.

A good use case would be to configure a web hook URL that belongs to MailChimp or Convert Kit, so that a new email newsletter with the contents of the new post can automatically be generated, scheduled and sent to subscribers.

One can also consider posting the new post to an AI-enabled service such as GPT, so that a summary of the new post is generated.

The possibilities are endless.

  • Plugin is invoked as soon as a post\'s status is changed from \'draft\' to \'published\', i.e. the \'publish\' button is clicked in the WordPress post editor.
  • The plugin generates a POST request and posts a copy of the new post as a JSON payload to the URL configured in the plugin.
  • URL can be configured on the plugin\'s settings page.
